i'm honestly a little lost and don't know where to go.

i draw sometimes. i write for my characters and their worlds (in short bursts). i have a story to tell that i've been working on for the past few years, but it's nowhere close to being finished. maybe one day i'll release my beast into the world. for now, i'll serve up snippets in short stories and flash fiction (if i ever post them here).

i'm trying to read some books i haven't touched in a while. i raise gooseflesh when i listen to music and watch movies with my sisters.

an interesting quirk about me: i've developed the uncanny habit of always writing in lowercase thanks to a certain skeleton. i also put a space before punctuation ! my english teachers must get a chill down their spine whenever i type.

i'm a terrible procrastinator and cannot manage my time well, but i try my best. coding is still fun for me, if still very frustrating. clock in as often or as little as you'd like.

my website is coded using blood and tears (with some help from W3Schools and random snippets of code from internet strangers who have figured it out years ago).

i honestly don't have a resounding message for why i made this website, other than "everyone else was doing it !"

to embarass myself, here lies my first website. i made it when i was in high school in 2019. i think i first heard of neocities from toyhouse, the character storage site.

i've loved neocities since then, tinkering and refreshing to see the page grow. sadly enough, i never took any official coding classes to seriously sharpen my skills. i've taken a few web-building classes (two (2)) while i was in college, but the teachers mostly taught using wix and wordpress (i was tricked !). even though i've been on/off coding since i started, i still consider myself a beginner, so please don't ctrl+u too closely... this website is
held together by string and paperclips.

i didn't exactly "grow up" on the internet; i don't have any nostalgia for the old web simply because i was too young. when i was a kid, my world was found in my ds lite and my stuffed husky. but i did have early internet access at a very vulnerable age... i came out fine !

with the internet came social media. it has been the backdrop for all my insecurities for years. i'm sadly addicted to it, despite how detrimental it is to scroll. i have yet to make a habit of using this website to disconnect from the constant buzz, but i'll work on it.

i think i'll use this website as a dumping ground for any creative endeavors i wanna pursue. i'll also use the website to write my thoughts on media and as a general archive for my life (whenever i feel like updating it).
